Product Description
The Accordion standard paint baffle is designed to capture airborne liquid particulates. This paint booth filter media is best used with air dried liquid coatings such as high solid enamels, epoxies, asphalts, varnish and other slow drying (tacky) coatings. A pleated paper accordion filter, The Accordion is comparable to Andrea Filters, Binks Filters and Compleat Filters. The Accordion is compatible with channel frame exhaust banks and cell frame banks. Cell frames require a filter support. Channel frames require end clips to hold the filter open. End clips can be welded on for a permanent application or clamps can be used for a temporary solution. The Standard Filter is 2" in depth and The Poly-Back is 2.4" deep. For optimum use, stretch the filter to 8 pleats per foot (1 red mark). Refer to the manufacturer's website for full instructions. An excellent choice for DIY paint booths, airbrush booths, car paint booths, or any dry paint booth. How it works: Through the process of inertial separation, airflow is diverted through a series of directional changes within the baffle which causes particulates to impact on the back walls and collect in deep pockets while any remaining particulates in the air stream strain through a final stage polyester backing. The airflow across the exhaust wall remains uniform as static pressure slowly increases. The Accordion standard baffle is an excellent single-stage filtration solution or first stage pre-filter. Considered one of the best paint booth filters on the market, The Accordion is not just made in the USA but is produced by the first and only American owned and operated manufacturer of accordion overspray collection filters. The Accordion is the better baffle for spray finishing operations.
